The Journal of Orthopaedic Research is a peer-reviewed medical journal of orthopedics established in 1983. It is published by Wiley-Liss on behalf of the Orthopaedic Research Society. Linda J. Sandell (Washington University in St. Louis) is the current editor-in-chief of the journal. It is published every month.

The Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is the only international research society that focuses on orthopedics and musculoskeletal care.

The Journal of Orthopaedics Research aims to publish original research work and research articles on arthroplasty, arthroscopy, sports medicine, trauma, spine and spinal deformities, and pediatric orthopedics. Continuing education, health-related information, case reports, and letters to the editor are also welcome in the journal.
